£12.00

£12.00 (Signed & Numbered Edition of 450)

42 pages | Full Colour | UK Royal (23.4 × 15.6 cm)

Published in summer 2025 to accompany Sarah Jane Moon’s solo exhibition Nature / Nurture, this richly illustrated artist’s book brings together ten striking works from her celebrated LGBTQIA+ portraits series.

Among those featured are some of the UK’s most influential LGBTQIA+ figures, including renowned human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, HIV/AIDS activist Jonathan Blake, writer, musician and founder of Gaysians Reeta Loi, A&E doctor and TV presenter Dr Ronx and award-winning biographer of twentieth century queer icons Diana Souhami. The book also introduces new portraits of musician Lucy Spraggan and curator and cultural producer Gemma Rolls-Bentley.

Alongside full-page images of each painting, the catalogue features an Introduction to the work by Sarah Jane Moon and an essay called “In the Frame” - a critical response by Diana Souhami focusing on Moon’s work in a wider cultural context. Close up images of the paintings and behind the scenes photographs from the artist’s studio round out this collection.

Each copy is signed and numbered by the artist and published in a limited edition of 450 only.
